Celebrating the Black LGBTQIA+ community & culture in Baltimore since 2002.
BLAQ Equity exists so that we Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual/aromantic, and other sexual and gender expansive(LGBTQIA+) people in Baltimore have the power, resources, and community support to shape our futures on our terms. We also uplift and honor same-gender loving(SGL) identities— a term rooted in Black culture and created by and for Black people to affirm our unique experiences of love, identity, and connection.
